When may someone call himself "Graphic Designer"?

About what we were talking on friday, I think someone is allowed to call himself "Graphic Designer" when:
1 When the person has got the Bachelor´s degree in Graphic Design.
2 When the person feels proud of a serie of projects there he/she har worked as a Graphic Designer and has been able to participate along all the project development.
3 Once the person´s work/career becomes recognized or awarded.

    I like how you put that. As I said in class before - I don't think you can call yourself a designer without any reference.

    But you can netertheless develop a designer's identity!

    Of course!...Totally! Even if many of us have some smilarites..such as appareance or interests...but that happens in every profession!
